Taras Petryk, Teen Prodigy Composer
Taras Petryk, 17, is a talented pianist and composer as well as a brilliant actor who is graduating this June from high school with a 99% average! A Mono native, Taras composes at the keyboard with minimal training. In 2023, over a four-month period, he composed twelve pieces for piano (picking up on his mother’s novel where water played a major role) that he premiered at Chateau Windrush as a surprise gift for his mother on Mother’s Day. Later that year, he recorded these at Chateau Windrush as his first album. You can find them on Spotify.
