What’s special about this bottle. This 2024 Windrush Pinot Grigio is a lovely wine that leans more to the richer Pinot Gris Alsatian style than the thinner Italian Pinot Grigio style. The colour of the 2024 is the slightest pink, perhaps from some skin contact with the Pinot grapes. The immediate bouquet is of peaches: very upfront and inviting. The taste is slightly off dry and soft, but the acidity hangs in through to the citrus (grapefruit) finish. The flavour is nicely persistent.
Pinot Grigio. This 2024 Pinot Grigio with its distinctive blush colour was born from patiently hand-harvested fruit, grown in the premium vineyard of Beamsville Bench on the Niagara bench. It sports a white cap to make it more distinguishable. As with all our wines, it carries the VQA appellation of excellence.
